A Bearded Collie's Favorite Time of Year

When it comes to the weather, the colder the better for a bearded collie, and Stella is no exception. I recall one below-freezing morning, Stella sought out the only spot of grass that was still in the shade and plopped down in that still-frosty patch.

So now she's waiting patiently for another day like this one, because sometimes those little frost patches just aren't enough!

In the meantime, she's pretty content to wander through the 'hood kicking up leaves and smelling critter stuff on these nice Fall days.

It's been five months now since Stella's surgery. So far, no sign of the bad stuff's return. We'll take that.
